Rising star Lana Del Rey has been confirmed as one of the performers at this year's Isle of Wight Festival. 

The 'Video Games' songstress will play a live set on Friday, June 22 on the Big Top stage alongside other acts including Example, Elbow, Noah and the Whale, and Feeder. 

2012 has been a successful year so far for the talented singer as she won the International Breakthrough Act BRIT Award in February, has enjoyed several weeks at No.1 with her major label debut album 'Born To Die', and recently confirmed 'Blue Jeans' as her third UK single. 

Other artists already announced to join Lana Del Rey at the popular outdoor music event are Bruce Springsteen, Tinie Tempah and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival, which will take place between June 21-24, are available now.
