'Young and Beautiful' songstress Lana Del Rey has confirmed that her short film 'Tropico' will premiere next month. 

The mini-movie, which she recently dubbed her 'farewell project', is set to be unveiled on December 5 through VEVO.

'Tropico' will also be screened at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and in New York City, but information hasn't been released for those showings yet. 

The poster for the film describes it as "a tale of redemption told to the music of body electric" and it was directed by Anthony Mandler. Del Rey previously described the film's content as "Elvis and Jesus and Marilyn and extraterrestrials all in one".

Earlier today (November 22), it was revealed that Del Rey had donated £6,200 ($10,000) to a kickstarter project to fund a film starring Daniel Johnston and her financial support has earned her a producer credit on the movie.
