Lana Del Rey confirms 'Ultraviolence' album

Lana Del Rey has revealed the name of her next album.

The singer announced the news at a screening of her new short film Tropico in Hollyood on Wednesday (December 4).

The album will be called 'Ultraviolence' and it is expected to be released next year.

Del Rey: "I really just wanted all of us to be together so I could try and visually close out my chapter before I release the new record 'Ultraviolence'."

The sultry singer meanwhile stars alongside Shaun Ross in the 30-minute film Tropico, which features on a new EP of the same name.

The prolonged clip is expected to be unleashed to the public at 4pm today UK time.

Del Rey's previous full release meanwhile came in the shape of her 'Paradise' re-issue of her 2012 major label debut 'Born To Die'.
