La Roux is aiming for UK number 1 after a six-week journey to the top of the charts

La Roux and Calvin Harris are to fight it out at the top of the singles chart this Sunday, with the former’s 'In For The Kill' (Polydor) looking to complete a six-week journey to the top of the charts.

'In For The Kill,' currently number two in the charts after climbing from four last week, sold more than 17,000 units yesterday to sit at number one in OCC sales flashes, ahead of the current number one, Calvin Harris’s 'I’m Not Alone' (Columbia).

Tinchy Stryder feat N Dubz’ 'Number One' (4th And Broadway) looks set to score the highest new entry, while Trashmen’s 'Surfin’ Bird' (Charly) looks likely to break the top forty, after featuring heavily in an episode of BBC 3’s Family Guy last Saturday.

Sounds of the Universe (Mute) is set to de-throne Lady Gaga’s 'The Fame' (Polydor) from the number one slot.

Noisettes and Fightstar also look set to score top ten entries with 'Wild Young Hearts' (Vertigo) and 'Be Human' (Search And Destroy) respectively.
