Laura Marling confirms 2012 UK tour

Laura Marling has announced that she will embark upon a headlining tour in spring 2012.

The singer, who recently admitted that she "might be coming into my electric phase" and could possibly record a punk album, is set to take her latest album on the road next year for a string of 10 live dates.

2011 has seen the talented star perform to audiences inside some of the UK's most beautiful cathedrals and although this new tour isn't as adventurous where the venues are concerned, it will take her from Glasgow to Bristol throughout March:

  • March 1 - Cambridge Corn Exchange
  • March 2 - Birmingham Symphony Hall
  • March 3 - Bristol Colston Hall
  • March 5 - Gateshead Sage Theatre
  • March 6 - O2 Academy Leeds
  • March 7 - HMV Hammersmith Apollo
  • March 9 - O2 Apollo Manchester
  • March 10 - O2 Academy Glasgow
  • March 11 - Stoke Victoria Hall
  • March 13 - Nottingham Royal Concert Hall

Tickets for Marling's new dates are due to go on sale at 9am on Friday, December 9 and you can watch part of her performance from the recent cathedrals tour here:
