Lea Michele's struggle with homesickness

Lea Michele, who plays the controlling but adorable Rachel Berry on the U.S hit show 'Glee', has explained that although she loves her job she struggles with homesickness.

The 24-year old star admits that she does see her family more now that she and co-star Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray, don't share a house any more. BANG Showbiz reports today (February 5) that Michele said:

"My family is very, very important to me. My mother is Italian American. She's a very strong woman - a good role model. My father's side is Jewish. I'm an only child, but we're the kind of family where every Sunday night, we have dinner with all 19 of my cousins. I miss home in New York so much. I miss my family, my boyfriend. It's tough filming the show in Los Angeles. Sometimes that makes me feel down."

She is set to perform 'America The Beautiful' at tomorrow's (February 6) Super Bowl and the brand new 'Glee' episode, for which you can see the preview here, will be aired afterwards:
