Leona Lewis has confessed that she won't be twerking any time soon.

The dance move, which focuses on the jiggling of the backside and hips, has become something of a craze this year.

The likes of Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj have both happily used the move and brought it into mainstream consciousness.

Speaking on ITV's Daybreak, Lewis stated that her music doesn't really fit twerking, and as a result, she won't be trying it out. The singer said:

"I feel like my songs don't really suit twerking so it might look weird if I just started suddenly."

The former X Factor winner meanwhile has released the latest song from her upcoming Christmas album.

She has previewed the record with the track 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday', which was lapped up by fans.
