Liam Gallagher has suggested his brother Noel has been "brown nosing" U2 after he landed a support slot with the Irishmen.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will warm up for U2 on their 'The Joshua Tree' 30th anniversary European tour later this year. Taking to Twitter on Monday (January 9) after the gigs were announced, Liam Gallagher wrote:

"I see all that brown nosing is finally starting to pay off NO SHAME LG x."
