Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green losses estimated to be over £270,000

According to new estimates, Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green store in Manchester was looted for over £270,000 worth of clothes during the riots.

The store, located on the city's King Street, was looted on Tuesday night (August 9) after rioting in central Manchester. The front door and windows were smashed in after looters broke in and took a large number of items. The Daily Telegraph estimates the items taken were worth around £272,000.

One man has been jailed for his part in the looting of Pretty Green. Twenty-eight-year-old Owen Flanagan from Levenshulme, just outside Manchester, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary on Thursday (August 11). He has been sentenced to eight months in prison after stealing £175 worth of clothing from the store.

It is unknown if Flanagan is the only looter who will be charged in relation to the Pretty Green incident.

Gallagher has opted not to comment on the looting thus far.
