Liam Gallagher on brother Noel: 'Outside the band he's cool as f**k'

Beady Eye hitmaker Liam Gallagher has revealed that while there's still significant tension between him and his musician brother, Noel, he thinks they'll eventually patch things up.

During a new interview with Scotland's The Daily Record, the star confessed that falling out backstage at a festival years ago damaged their relationship although there is room for things to grow:

"I am (still) p**sed off but I am getting through it, so anything could happen."

"We could get back together. I haven't spoken to our kid since 2009 so it's a long way off."

Gallagher added that outside of music, he has a lot of respect for Noel and thinks he's great: "(But) outside a band, he's cool as f**k. As brothers in a band, me and him don't get on. He's surrounded by idiots and I'm not. Until he loses a few clowns he'll remain in idiotville. We'll get over it, though."

Referring to their respective musical talents, he joked: "He's way ahead when it comes to music without a doubt. But I p**s all over him vocally. I destroy him."
