Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' pushed back until August

Lil Wayne fans will have to wait even longer now for the release of his forthcoming album as the date has been pushed back by another 2 months.

Recently rescheduled to drop on June 21, his new record 'Tha Carter IV' has been pushed even further back to August 29. This will be Weezy's first album since finishing his jail sentence last November and it is eagerly anticipated following the string of setbacks.

No specific reason has been given for the latest delay but during an interview with MTV in April, Mack Maine explained that the original cause for the new release date was Wayne's perfectionism:

"He's still perfecting a few things, but he's a perfectionist...changing a few lines"
