Rap heavyweight Lil Wayne has teased details of a new project that will see him design and launch a shoe. 

Speaking to VIBE magazine, the 'Got Money' superstar explained that he's not at liberty to discuss the partnership just yet but is very excited about it and will be releasing a signature sneaker in the near future: 

"It's not a Nike or Reebok, I can tell you that much. I do have a shoe coming out soon but it won't be Trukfit. I have a shoe with a well-known company."

"I just don't want to say yet because I haven't dotted the line yet... but it's done."

He already has a clothing line with Trukfit, but won't collaborate with the company on a footwear range.
