Lil Wayne confesses to taking seizure meds
Hip-hop star Lil Wayne has revealed he is taking seizure medication following his health scare last month.
The American rapper experienced seizure-like symptoms while aboard his private jet in October and was transported to a hospital where he was treated shortly after landing.
Speaking to MTV during an interview to promote his new music video 'No Worries', Lil Wayne has confessed to receiving treatment for his ailment.
He said: "Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don't want the air on, so it's super-hot in here. I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man. I'm on seizure medicine, man, that's all."
Lil Wayne also revealed the strict health regime he has been instructed to follow by medical professionals.
He said: "They said I gotta drink four water bottles a day, that's what the doctors say. I just came from the doctor. I ain't drinking four water bottles, but everything's good."
Meanwhile, the controversial star has revealed the official release date of his upcoming album I Am Not A Human Being II, which will hit shelves February 19.
