Lily Allen admits her new singles are "docile pop rubbish"

Lily Allen has agreed with a fan who claims her latest singles are "pop rubbish".

The singer is due to unleash her comeback record 'Sheezus' on May 5 and it has been preceded by the singles 'Hard Out Here' and 'Air Balloon'.

Allen has also revealed the songs 'Our Time' and 'L8 CMMR' but one fan told her on Twitter:

"@lilyallen's new music is actually docile pop rubbish. So disappointing. She properly just wrote some rubbish to cash some cheques."

In a move of surprising honesty, the singer replied: "What you've heard so far yes. All I can do is do my best, the labels and the radio stations won't play the better stuff."

She later told the Twitter user to "keep the faith" with regards to her new music.
