Lily Allen says MTV want to give 'Our Time' video daytime ban

MTV apparently want to ban Lily Allen's new video from the daytime.

The singer recently unleashed the clip for her song 'Our Time' and it sees Allen play various characters on a night out.

However, it seems the video isn't warming the cockles of MTV bosses. The singer today (March 13) posted an email she received which told her that the music network require an edit of the clip.

MTV apparently state that the video promotes drinking and "antisocial" behaviour in the shape of an attack on Allen in a hot dog costume.

Allen simply wrote on Twitter: "Age of beige. I thought MTV just played Catfish and My Super Sweet 16."

'Our Time' meanwhile is set to feature on the singer's upcoming album 'Sheezus', which will be released on May 5.
