Lily Allen has been hospitalised after falling ill.

The singer had been complaining on Twitter that she was feeling under the weather yesterday (May 7).

However, things took a turn after she posted online that she was throwing up:

"I can't stop projectile vomiting, also temperature #poisoned."

Allen today (May 8) uploaded a photo of herself in hospital on Instagram with fluid drips on her arm.

She wrote: "#SHEEzUS in #SHOSPITAL. I'm fine though guys, just need some fluids cause i can't keep anything down. #dramz."

The 'Sheezus' star later retweeted a message from a Twitter follower which said: "You look like a My Chemical Romance fan."
