Lily Allen loves Glastonbury: 'I'd trade Christmas for it'

Songstress Lily Allen has confessed that she loves Glastonbury so much she would 'trade Christmas' for it if she could.

During a new interview with BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw, the 'Air Balloon' hitmaker explained that she was a baby when she first attended the world famous British music event and makes an effort to go every year because she is such a fan of the atmosphere and often diverse line-up:

"I go in hard. I was six-weeks-old the first time I went. I mean I would trade Christmas for Glastonbury. I didn't go once. But yeah I've been every year, even when I was preggers."

Allen will take the stage at Worthy Farm next week to perform live among the likes of Dolly Parton, Metallica, Ed Sheeran, and Arcade Fire. Glastonbury 2014 kicks off on Wednesday, June 25 and she added that her father is already there setting up his camping spot:

"My dad's been there for a week, yeah he's setting up. He's taking a hot tub. Yes! He's quite funny. I'm a bit worried though because when my dad goes down to Glastonbury a month before it starts, I'm sort of worried about what sort of state he's going to be in by the time I get there."
