Lily Allen's chilling Rufus Wainwright cover and Alicia Keys' empowering speech at Women's March

Grammy nominated British pop star and renown activist, Lily Allen, performed a poignant rendition of Rufus Wainwright's "Going To A Town" at last Saturday's Women's March in London

A video of her performance has been uploaded to the internet and it also contains footage of protestors. The audio has been replaced with a studio version of the song that was produced by Mark Ronson.

In the song, Allen sings: "You took advantage of a world that loved you well / I'm going to a town that has already been burnt down / I'm so tired of you, America."

At the Women's March in Washington, which took place on the same day, 15-time Grammy Award winner and activist, Alicia Keys, gave a moving speech and said: "We will not allow our bodies to be owned and controlled by men in government, or men anywhere for that matter. We will not allow our compassionate souls to get stepped on. We want the best for all Americans. No hate, no bigotry, no Muslim registry."
