Lily Allen has addressed the ongoing rumours that she might be a judge on the forthcoming series of X Factor by joking on Twitter. 

The 'Smile' singer explained today, May 13, that she has no intention of appearing on the show and exercised her fantastic sense of humour by writing a public message to Radio 1's Edith Bowman, that said:

"Not unless Simon Cowell becomes an evil dictator and forces me to do it against my will or threatens to hang draw and quarter me, which is actually not too far beyond the realms of possibility. So maybe.........."
