Lily Allen doesn't spend time with models anymore

Lily Allen has slammed the unhealthy lifestyles of the models she's encountered in a new interview with Elle magazine.

The 'Smile' singer revealed that not only are the girls inflicting terrible habits upon themselves and their bodies, they're also emanating negativity to those who look up to them:

"They’re not just going to the gym two hours a day. They’re not eating or they’re taking speed not to eat. In America everyone abuses that Adderall stuff and people aren’t normal."

She opened up about how she felt when she was at her thinnest and said the only way she maintained it was by distracting herself from eating:

"I wasn’t eating then, you know, [I was] going out at night. I guess when you’re not eating you have to distract yourself with other things."

"Come three o’clock it was like, ‘Oh I suppose it’s acceptable to have a glass of wine.’ And then by four o’clock I would have had four glasses. It’s not the way to be."

You can read the full interview with the recently married singer, now to be known as Lily Cooper, in the new edition of Elle which is due out on Wednesday, July 6. Listen to her cover of Keane's 'Everybody's Changing' here:
