Lily Allen has suggested that she will release a new video and song soon.

The singer has largely been absent from music for a number of years, but she has been busy working on her comeback album over the past months.

Today (November 12) she gave fans the chance to unlock photos from what looks like a new video.

One of the images sees Allen lying in an operating theatre, whilst there is also a moving image of a woman having champagne poured onto her behind.

Allen, however, reportedly earlier tweeted that she is releasing a new video and song today, before deleting the message. The tweet said that a video for a new song will be released at 5pm UK time.

The singer meanwhile is currently riding a wave of resurgence after featuring on John Lewis's new Christmas advert.

She can be heard covering Keane's 'Somewhere We Only Know' for the commercial, which features animated animals.
