Earlier today (November 12), songstress Lily Allen teased fans by suggesting she was about to unveil a brand new music video and she has now shared the clip with her online following. 

The beauty has been out of the music spotlight for some time, but the premiere of her video for 'Hard Out Here' has propelled her back onto the scene.

Writing on her official Twitter page this afternoon, she confessed her excitement about returning with a new track: "Enjoy!!!! And remember IT'S HARD OUT HERE FOR A BITCH!"

Visually, this new offering parodies some of the popular themes in videos shared by female artists of the moment and pokes fun at the blatant sexualisation, which in turn has caused debate over true empowerment of women in music. The feedback she has received from fans so far has been overwhelmingly positive, with one YouTube user writing:

"She has one of the best sense of humours in the industry! That is why she is so successful, Doesn't take her self too seriously, And if you didn't notice this is a parody of all the other FAKE bitch's in the game! Lily rocks!!!! [sic]"

Like so many of Lily's fans, Pressparty are glad the clever singer has returned.
