Lily Allen performs 'Hard Out Here' on the London Eye

Lily Allen has performed her new single for the first time on the London Eye.

The singer ran through 'Hard Out Here' at the somewhat odd venue last night (November 14) as part of the Red Bull Revolutions in Sound series of events.

Whilst high up above the city, Allen sang her new track along to the song's backing music in front of a small crowd of gig-goers. Mark Ronson also performed a DJ set.

Tweeting before taking to the London Eye, an honest Allen said:

"Watch me sing #HOH for the first time. And see why I needed all that auto tune."

The song's video, which parodies sexualisation in the industry, was unleashed earlier this week ahead of the single's full release on Sunday (November 17).

'Hard Out Here' is due to feature on Allen's forthcoming new album - her first record since 2009's 'It's Not Me, It's You'.
