LONDON, UK: Saturday 17th December sees a unique event taking place at the Brooklyn Bowl, in London; BBC Radio 2 & Radio London DJ Baylen Leonard hosts a 'Holiday Hoedown' just in time for Christmas, featuring a hand-picked lineup of live music:

In his own words: "I'm really excited Brooklyn Bowl asked me to curate their first ever Holiday Hoedown, as Christmas and Country is the perfect combination! Not only do I get to cut loose on the DJ decks and get everybody dancing but more importantly, it gives me the chance to showcase some of my favourite UK acts from the Country and Americana worlds. Danny and the Champions of the World are just hands down one of the best live UK acts around, a real good time band, and they have three AMA-UK awards to prove it. Laura Oakes not only is BCMA Vocalist of the Year, but knows how to put on a show with songs that you'll be singing all the way home, and Loud Mountains are two American brothers who now live in the UK; they have songs that combine the best elements of Country and Americana with harmonies that could only come from growing up singing together.

As a thank you to the amazing UK Country and Americana fans, we've kept the ticket prices low, and there will be a mini Christmas market where you can do some last minute shopping for music, band merchandise, and even tea towels featuring some country favourites. Come on, who wouldn't want a Dolly Parton tea towel in their stocking!?"
