DISNEY CHANNEL AND GIRL TALK PARTNER TO BRING THE BIG TICKET CONCERT TO THE UK FOR THE FIRST TIME
Fan favourite television stars from The Next Step, Disney The Lodge and Backstage to perform in five cities across the UK
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 26th May
LONDON, UK (22nd May, 2017) – Disney Channel UK and Girl Talk Magazine in association with DHX Television and Live Nation are gearing up for the biggest event of the summer – bringing The Big Ticket Concert to five cities in the UK. A can’t miss concert experience for the entire family, the event features music performances by the most popular stars from kids’ favourite television series. The tour kicks off in Glasgow on Wednesday, August 30, stopping in Belfast, Manchester and Birminghambefore touching down in London for the final show on Sunday, September 3. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 26 at 9 AM.
Created in Canada by DHX Television’s Family Channel in 2012, The Big Ticket Concert brings the biggest television stars together for the ultimate fan experience. Featuring multiple acts, the tour will be hosted by fan-favourite dancers Trevor Tordjman and Jordan Clark, who are best known for their roles in the tween drama The Next Step. Fellow cast members Victoria Baldesarra, Brittany Raymond, Myles Erlick, Briar Nolet, Shelby Bain, Isaiah Peck, Alexandra Chaves will also be on deck, ready to wow the crowd with their crazy tricks, mind-blowing flips and killer choreography. Plus, The Next Step star, Taveeta, will show off her vocal prowess performing her new single Resurrection.
Stars from Disney Channel UK’s number one rated series The Lodge, Sophie Simnett, Jade Alleyne, Thomas Doherty, Mia Jenkins, Luke Newton, Jayden Revri, Josh Sinclair-Evans and Bethan Wright will have fans singing and busting some moves as they perform for the first time popular songs from the smash-hit show including Believe That, which has been viewed over 8 million times on YouTube.
Visiting the UK for the first time ever, stars from Backstage, McKenzie Small (Scarlett), Josh Bogert (Miles) and Aviva (Alya) will perform brand new music from their debut EPs.
