In just its second year, the LOL Comedy Honors is poised to become one the premier awards show of the season. Last year, the honoree mix included D.L. Hughley, George Wallace, Marsha Warfield, Paul Mooney, and Lil Rel Howery. This year, the lineup is even bigger, with Rock, who will receive “The Bernie Mac Comedy King” honor, and Cannon, who will receive “The Dick Gregory Voice of A Generation Honor” respectively. The black tie gala will be hosted by comedian, LUENELL alongside of New York comic JAMIE ROBERTS, also of Radio 103.9 FM, the official radio sponsor of this year’s event. The musical guest will be R&B sensation CARL THOMAS, known best for his chart-topping hits “I Wish”, “Summer Rain” and “Emotional”.
