Chace Crawford heading to 'Glee'

Actor Chace Crawford has signed up to take part in the forthcoming 100th episode of 'Glee', it has been confirmed.

The 'Gossip Girl' star will be heading to McKinley High for the exciting project and Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr. Schuester on the show, told E! Online that Crawford's role will be a romantic one:

"I think he’s going to be Dianna Agron’s new love interest."

He will be playing an Ivy League college student called Biff and Morrison added that "he’s kind of a Yalie degenerate." Gwyneth Paltrow (pictured below) will also reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday for the special episode.

At the end of last year, 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy opened up about how he planned to end the show before the tragic death of cast member Cory Monteith: "Rachel was going to have become a big Broadway star, the role she was born to play. Finn was going to have become a teacher, settled down happily in Ohio, at peace with his choice and no longer feeling like a Lima loser."
