Mel C performs with Emma Bunton at birthday bash

Mel C teamed up with her Spice Girls comrade Emma Bunton last night (January 12) on stage.

The two singers have joined forces on a few occasions since their band split in 2000 and they collaborated again for Mel C's 40th birthday.

She celebrated the milestone with a gig at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire and a few famous faces were on hand to help.

Bunton came on stage to perform the Spice Girls' classic ballad '2 Becomes 1' whilst All Saints' Natalie Appleton ran through 'Pure Shores'.

Chris Moyles also appeared to perform 'When You're Gone', which originally featured Bryan Adams.

Taking to Twitter today (January 13) to reflect on the night, Mel C said: "Thank you to everybody for making my Birthday so incredible. I had the best time ever!!!! xxx."
