Justin Bieber has been linked with an appearance in action movie series The Expendables.

Actor Terry Crews, who has featured in all three Expendables films as the character Hale Caesar, told the New York Daily News that the Canadian singer is set to feature in the flick's next installment.

He said: "The next one, I am telling you Justin Bieber is coming for The Expendables 4. That is for real."

In is unclear whether Crews was joking, however, with the actor then adding: "Bieber in Expendables 4. We are going to shoot him all at the same time. It will be wonderful."

The Expendables franchise also stars the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li and Arnold Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Bieber meanwhile has featured on US TV show CSI in the past, with singer at point shot dead - much the delight of many viewers.
