Kylie Minogue says Roc Nation link-up has added "freshness" to her music

Kylie Minogue says teaming up with Roc Nation has brought some "vitality" back to her music.

The singer signed a management deal with Roc Nation last year - a company which is owned by Jay Z.

She is due to release her new single 'Into The Blue' on March 16 ahead of a full album later in the year.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Minogue said that working with Roc Nation has enabled her to touch new ground and expand her horizons, whilst still retaining the classic Kylie ethos.

She said: "The sound essentially retains my DNA, and what a Kylie song is, but I think that gives me room to manoeuvre because you have something like 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', to 'Slow', to 'I Believe in You to I Should Be So Lucky' - it's still within the pop/dance arena.

'But what it has done has for me most importantly, is injected a freshness and a vitality into doing what is basically what I've always done - I needed to have a fresh approach and Roc Nation has helped me do that."

Minogue meanwhile has been announced as performer for the MasterCard Priceless series of gigs.

She will play a show in March, but the exact date or location has yet to be revealed.
