Beyoncé has been added to the bill for this year's Grammy Awards.

The US icon will take to stage at the Los Angeles ceremony on Sunday (January 26) as the music world celebrates its top stars.

The news was revealed in an advert posted online by TV network CBS. Her husband Jay Z has also been added to the line-up.

They join an illustrious bill that already includes the likes of Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Metallica and Daft Punk.

Also on the line-up are acts such as Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars and Lorde.

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are also due to feature as they collect a special lifetime achievement honour for their Beatles work.
