Little Mix to debut Sport Relief single on BBC Radio 1

'Move' beauties Little Mix recently confirmed that they will be releasing this year's Sport Relief single, which is a cover of Cameo's 1986 single 'Word Up', and it's due to get its first play tomorrow morning.

The ladies will head to the BBC Radio 1 studios in London tomorrow (January 21) for an interview with host Nick Grimshaw, which is due to begin at 7.45am, and a tweet posted from their account explained that the song will also premiere during the slot:

"UK! The girls will be on @BBCR1 tomorrow chatting with @grimmers from 7.45am GMT... Word on the Twittersphere is that you may even hear a FIRST play of the @sportrelief single #WordUp..."

A second message was then posted from the group's collective Twitter page, which read: "We suggest tuning in to @R1Breakfast bright and early tomorrow! Mixers HQ."

Sport Relief 2014 takes place between 21 and 23 March, and it will see various celebrities along with members of the public running, swimming or cycling in the Sport Relief Games. Little Mix's 'Word Up' will be released on March 16 digitally before a physical version goes on sale a day later.
