The nominations for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced this morning (January 29) and have shown that 'Mama's Broken Heart' beauty Miranda Lambert is leading the pack with seven nods. 

Following closely behind with 5 nominations is 'I Knew You Were Trouble' songstress Taylor Swift. Both Lambert and Swift will go head to head for the coveted Entertainer of the Year prize and for the Female Vocalist of the Year title. 

Swift is also up for Single Record of the Year, Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year, all for her collaborative effort on 'Highway Don't Care' with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. Lambert, meanwhile, has also been nominated in the Video of the Year category, Single record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Vocal Event of the Year. 

The 2014 ACMs will be held on Sunday, April 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will host the star-studded ceremony, which will also be televised on CBS live.
