This year's Reading and Leeds Festival is set to be a huge event as the organisers have now announced more bands that will be performing this summer. 

Blink 182, Jake Bugg and Disclosure have already been confirmed, but a new wave of acts was released this evening by Radio 1's Zane Lowe. Arctic Monkeys will headline Reading and Leeds 2014, and You Me At Six along with The 1975 are set to also play live over the August bank holiday weekend. 

Reading and Leeds Festival will take place from August 22 - August 24 and tickets for it are already available. 

Last month, Arctic Monkeys confessed that playing their older material live can be challenging: "Sometimes it's tough to get through one of the old ones live. You know, you don't feel like that anymore. When you tell the same joke 600 times, you won't hear what it is any more."
