Pharrell Williams is the next artist to be confirmed for MasterCard's Priceless gig series.

The US star will perform an intimate gig in London at some point this year, but no venue or date has been announced.

He follows in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Laura Mvula, who will both also play Priceless gigs.

Speaking about the news, the 'Happy' man said: "Not only do I get to perform at The BRIT Awards this year, but I now also get to perform to an intimate crowd at my MasterCard Priceless Gig in 2014. My fans are so important to me, so I'm excited to get up close and personal and thank them for all their support with a Priceless experience."

As mentioned by Williams, the American is also due to play live at this year's BRIT Awards on February 19 at London's O2 Arena.

However, he is not nominated for any awards, with the likes of Bruno Mars and John Grant instead up for the International Male Solo Artist prize.

It was also confirmed today (February 4) that Williams will perform his hit song 'Happy' at the Oscars on March 2 as he hopes the track picks up the Best Original Song prize.
