Adam Lambert and Daughtry's 'American Idol workshop' segments get broadcast date

Back in January, 'American Idol' alum Chris Daughtry posted a photo to his official Instagram page that showed him posing with Adam Lambert and confessing that the pair had returned to the show for a special workshop.

He told his followers on the social networking and photo sharing site that they had gone back to the vocal talent show especially for the project: "Hanging with @Adamlambert at the #idol workshop. Glad to be back! Stay tuned..."

While no further information was issued on what both superstars were doing on the 'American Idol' set, Daughtry posted an exciting message on Twitter on February 7 to confirm the dates that the segments he filmed with Lambert will be broadcast in America:

"Tune in to @AmericanIdol February 18 & 19, 2014 at 8pm on Fox to catch me and @adamlambert working with the contestants."

Daughtry had previously tweeted: "Had a blast working with the @AmericanIdol contestants along with @YO_RANDYJACKSON and @adamlambert for #idol workshop. Can't wait for u 2 C."

'American Idol' executive producer Trish Kinane told press earlier this year that the workshops will be hosted by Randy Jackson: "Randy is going to be hosting a two-day workshop... he is very much putting this together, and that will carry through to the live shows.
