Zedd and Hayley Williams land midweek No.1 single with 'Stay The Night'

Russian/German DJ and producer Zedd is currently leading the midweek singles chart update with his new single 'Stay The Night', which also features Paramore's Hayley Williams. 

The track has shot straight in at No.1 this afternoon and according to the Official Charts Company is currently ahead of its nearest competitor, which is Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' at No.2, by 5,500 copies. 

Nina Nesbitt, who recently sat down for a chat with Pressparty, has an exciting new entry this afternoon (February 12) at No.29 with 'Selfies', David Guetta's 'Shot Me Down' debuted at No.9, and Ellie Goulding's latest offering, 'Goodness Gracious', has climbed an impressive 11 places to No.38.

Elsewhere on the UK Top 40, Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' is at 12, The Vamps are currently at 27 with their sophomore single 'Wild Heart', and New Zealand songstress Lorde is at No.34 with 'Team'. 

The final positions will be confirmed this coming Sunday, February 16 on BBC Radio 1.
