Indie rockers Arctic Monkeys are currently more popular on blogging site Tumblr according to the social networking platform's music expert.

During an interview with Britain's The Guardian newspaper, Tumblr's Nate Auerbach explained that in one 30-day period earlier this year there were 57,000 posts tagged 'Arctic Monkeys' and he said: "This is bigger than Lady Gaga on Tumblr right now."

Auerbach is now working on a case study for Tumblr about Arctic Monkeys because of their sudden success and increased popularity on the site.

At the beginning of February, it was confirmed that Arctic Monkeys will be headlining this year's Reading and Leeds Festival, which will take place across the weekend of August 22-24. The band will also perform live at the 2014 BRITs on February 19.
