British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has celebrated his birthday (February 17) by releasing a new tour update video for his fans. 

The 'Lego House' hitmaker uploaded the new tour diary after teasing its release by tweeting, "video diary dropping today as an un-birthday present from me to you guys", and it shows him recording in the studio with Pharrell Williams and hanging out with Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden in New York. 

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier this evening, he explained that he will spend his special day watching old family movies:

"So many lovely birthday messages, sorry i can't reply to all of them. gonna eat sausage and mash and watch old family videos tonight x"
