t.A.T.u won't be reuniting due to 'hurtful' clashes

'All The Things She Said' duo t.A.T.u recently delighted fans by getting back together to perform at the Winter Olympics, but their proposed reunion has come to an abrupt halt due to irreconcilable differences.

Julia Volkova and Lena Katina reunited to perform their 2003 hit single 'Not Gonna Get Us' for the opening of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, and then confessed they had plans to make new music together in the near future.

This idea has now been axed and Katina posted an official message on Facebook, in which she explained that Volkova's 'behaviour' has been less than desirable and leaves them with no choice but to keep a distance from each other: "For the reason of incorrect behavior (sic) from Julia's side concerning me, I must announce that our future collaboration has become absolutely impossible."

"Aside from many crude and hurtful statements made about me, Julia gave me an ultimatum: she declined to participate with me in t.A.T.u. if I do not comply with her and her team in all aspects regarding the creative direction of t.A.T.u... In this instance I consider our future collaboration to be impossible as well as communication between us."

Katina added: "I am sad that our fans' hopes of a t.A.T.u. reunion will not come true. I hope you understand and I want to say thank you for loving and supporting me always. Thank you."
