Nina Nesbitt on course for UK No.1 album

Nina Nesbitt could land her first UK No.1 album this weekend.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed in their midweek update today (February 19) that the Scottish singer-songwriter is currently No.1 with her debut record 'Peroxide'.

However, it is only 5,000 copies ahead of its nearest competitor and a number of acts are expected to enjoy a sales boost over the next few days as a result of their BRIT Awards participation tonight.

Nevertheless, at No.2 in the midweek update is last week's No.1 - Katy B's 'Little Red'.

At No.3 is London Grammar's 'If You Wait' whilst Ellie Goulding's 'Halcyon' is No.4.

Completing the top five this week is Beyoncé's surprise self-titled effort.

Pressparty meanwhile recently spoke to Nina Nesbitt about her album and cover songs - check it out here.
