Sky Ferreira has 60 stitches after 'Bangerz' tour injury

American singer Sky Ferreira was taken to hospital after injuring her leg during her support slot on Miley Cyrus’ 'Bangerz' tour last night (February 21).

The ‘You’re Not The One’ vocalist fell over during her first song while playing in Anaheim, California, as part of Miley Cyrus’ current world tour.

21-year-old Ferreira continued to finish her set and was not aware of the severity of her injury until a further ten minutes after leaving the stage.

Sky posted pictures on Instagram showing her right leg in a bandage and being wheeled towards an ambulance (see image above left).

She later informed fans that she had subsequently spent seven hours in hospital and underwent 60 stitches on her lower right leg.

Sky Ferreira has confirmed that she will continue to play all scheduled shows.

Speaking about her 'Bangerz' tour partner earlier this month, Sky Ferreira said: “I find it funny when people call Miley Cyrus a bad feminist.”
