A host of big names including Ed Sheeran have been confirmed for this year's Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks events.

The two sun-doused shindigs are due to run for a number of weeks over the summer as Spain hosts a series of top shows.

Ed Sheeran will play Mallorca Rocks on July 22 before performing at Ibiza Rocks a day later, whilst the likes of Tinie Tempah and Rudimental have also been confirmed.

Other names announced include Bastille, John Newman and Skrillex, who will play Mallorca Rocks only.

Sheeran commented about the news: "I played at the Mallorca and Ibiza Rocks opening parties 2 years ago and had a lot of fun. Looking forward to getting back out there in the sun and playing some of the new songs this summer!"

Bastille's Dan Smith added: “We can't wait to play Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks again. The gigs were both loads of fun last summer so we're really happy to have been asked back this year."
