Rap sensation Kanye West has revealed that the one thing he really regrets is that his daughter, North West, will never meet his mother. 

During his concert at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Casino on Friday, February 21, the 'Stronger' superstar confessed his biggest regret to the audience and admitted that family is the most important thing in his life:

"These past 10 years have been amazing. There’s been some ups and downs. I made some mistakes and I’ve made some accomplishments. There’s only one thing I regret. There’s only one thing I wish I could change out of everything that’s ever happened. I wish that my mother could’ve met my daughter."

West's mother, Donda, died back in 2007 after complications that arose from a cosmetic surgery procedure. North West is Kanye's first child and he welcomed her into the world last summer with reality television star, Kim Kardashian. 

During a recent chat with Interview magazine, the hitmaker explained that his family keeps him grounded: "Well, I've got my astronaut family. You know, becoming famous is like being catapulted into space - sometimes without a space suit. We've seen so many people combust, suffocate, get lost in all these different things. But to have an anchor of other astronauts and to make a little space family..."
