Dolly Parton and Blondie confirm Glastonbury slots
Dolly Parton and Blondie are both set to play at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The two veteran music acts will perform over June 25-29 as the popular Worthy Farm festival takes place once again.
Country icon Parton will take to the famous stage for the first time on June 29 as part of her Blue Smoke world tour, which will see the singer take to the UK in June.
She wrote on Twitter: "I’m incredibly excited to FINALLY announce that the #BlueSmokeWorldTour is coming to @GlastoFest on June 29th! ;) Stay tuned for more info…"
Organiser Emily Eavis added: "We are delighted to say that Dolly is coming to Glastonbury...It really doesn't get much better than this!"
Blondie meanwhile revealed at last night's (February 26) NME Awards that they will also be playing at the festival.
Debbie Harry said: "We just heard today - we're going to be doing Glastonbury!"
