Lea Michele has revealed that she was planning to have children with Cory Monteith.

The singer's Glee co-star died in July last year aged 31 after taking a deadly mix of heroin and alcohol.

He was dating Michele at the time of his death and the actress told Glamour that she had grand plans with Monteith that now can't be fulfilled.

She said: "We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old."

However, Michele believes that she has Monteith's blessing to go into another relationship when the time comes. She said:

"It's so important to make sure I'm 100 per cent OK before I get into a relationship. People have to understand that I can't be alone forever. Cory wouldn't want that."

Michelle meanwhile will release her debut solo album 'Louder' on March 17 in the UK.
