Lea Michele on Cory Monteith: 'I'm so grateful that I experienced true love'

'Glee' beauty Lea Michele has confessed that the one thing she learned after the death of her co-star and boyfriend, Cory Monteith, is that what they had really was true love.

During a new interview, she opened up about her new song 'You're Mine', which she wrote as a tribute to Monteith and confessed that it will always take her back to happy times with him:

"I'm so grateful to get to say that I experienced true love and I think that a lot of people unfortunately don't. They'll go a whole lifetime without this experience. I did and I consider myself so lucky. It takes me back to the best time of my life, so whenever I need to remember that, I play that song."

She added: "A lot of people don't know how to touch this situation. It's like walking on eggshells. It puts it all out there. It's really hard and we're gonna get through it. I really hope it helps people the way it helps me...If I've learned anything from this past year it's that you have one life."

"I didn't really understand what that meant until recently. You have to live your life to the fullest and you have to love as hard as you can love."
