'Can We Dance' heartthrobs The Vamps are currently working on new music with hitmaker and songwriter, Savan Kotecha. 

The stars shared an update via their official Twitter page earlier today (March 1) and confirmed that they are now in the studio with him, writing: "Recording with the man @Savan_Kotecha today."

Member Connor Ball took to his own social media account and confessed that he was really excited to be recording again:

"So good to be back in the studio recording."

James McVey added: "Great day with @Savan_Kotecha. He is awesome."

Kotecha, meanwhile, is known for his work with One Direction and penned their smash hit single 'What Makes You Beautiful', which won a BRIT Award. He told press last year that after Harry Styles heard the song he received a text to let him know it was going to be a huge success:

"I went to the studio and took a process of a couple weeks to really tweak it but the core of it was written within two days and then tweaked a few things here and there over a couple weeks, but I mean, I still have the text message from Harry [Styles]. When he heard the demo I was in Miami on my way back to Sweden and he sent me a text message saying, “I think you got it. I think you got the one here.” I still have that text message."
