The organisers of the UK's well-loved V Festival have now confirmed that this year's headlining acts will be Justin Timberlake and The Killers. 

The event, which takes place over August 16-17 in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire, will be Timberlake's first outing at V Festival whereas this is set to be The Killers' fifth headlining slot. 

Other performers that have now been added to the impressive bill include 'Lego House' superstar Ed Sheeran, Lily Allen, Chic ft. Nile Rodgers, Nina Nesbitt, Kaiser Chiefs, and Jason Derulo. Tickets for 2014's V Festival will go on sale at 9am this coming Friday, March 7. 

'V Fest' is currently trending on Twitter and the overall reaction so far to the line-up announcement has been overwhelmingly positive, with people expressing their excitement at Timberlake's impending return and live set.
