The Wanted excited for their tour: 'We can't wait, it'll be fun and games'

UK based boyband The Wanted have revealed that they're excited to head out on tour together and have also promised some 'nostalgia' and 'surprises' for the jaunt.

Member Tom Park explained to Capital FM that it has been a while since they were all together so they can't wait to kick off the run of dates later tonight in Liverpool:

"Yeah, can't wait. It's been two years since we did a UK tour so it's gonna be good to get back on the road and spend a bit more time together. We haven't spent much time together this year so it's gonna be lots of fun and games."

Rising stars The Vamps have been confirmed to support them on their entire tour, which is due to kick off later this evening (March 14) at the Echo Arena.

Earlier this week, The Wanted's Jay McGuiness explained that while they announced a hiatus, they're still open to gig offers and haven't completely called time on their group: "I think there's going to be more private gigs that we'll be doing throughout the year still. A lot of promoters have probably assumed we've split and won't book us, but we're still open to gigs we're all available for."
